I was reading a local blog today which lead me to an interesting article from the Concord Monitor about a group that formed in New Hampshire called the Pink Pistols. You can read the article here.

From the article I read, the group has been “resurrected”, so I assume there was once a chapter in NH. The group is trying to help the GLBT community to arm themselves for self-defense and will be holding their first event on May 25th in Derfield.

I am going to write to the organizer of this group and see if he will give me more information, stay tuned for an update!

I was watching a news report on Fox new in Boston today about emails sent to the MBTA head from another state employee. You can listen to the story here. What bothers me is that they mention the email contained slurs about the MBTA officials “Gay Lifestyle” I don’t know if this guy is gay or not, but come on! It is not a Lifestyle! If he is gay then he’s gay! do African Americans have an African American Lifestyle? Do blondes have a blonde lifestyle? I know this is a Fox channel and it should be expected, but Fox Boston, wake up!

In an unrelated story the Manchester Union leader who enjoys “outing” folks because they can has run a new story about the attire of a Massachusetts judge who was caught drinking and driving in Manchester. What does it matter what the guy was wearing? He was drinking and driving and deserves the penalties for that, but there is no need to publicly humilate him.

The Concord Monitor posted this interesting article about why NH shouldn’t vote for Mitt Romney.  The editorial hits the nail on the head, comparing his record as Massachusetts governor and his stances as a Presidential candidate.

My question is can a politition from Massachusetts win a national election? Or can a candidate for President win a national election if he or she doesn’t win in his or her own state? –>
